Period Poverty:
A Human Rights Issue
The Problem:
Lack of access to safe and hygienic menstrual products during menstrual periods, and the inaccessibility of basic sanitation services or facilities, and menstrual hygiene education.
There are currently 1.8 billion menstruators – over 20% of the world’s population.
500 million lack access to menstrual products and adequate facilities for MHH (menstrual health and hygiene) management.
A Solution:
Create reusable menstrual hygiene management kits and distribute to women and girls in underdeveloped or underserved areas of the world.
Our kits are currently made with love by women with a heart for making an impact in the name of the Lord. Each kit contains reusable shields and liners, a transport bag, a strap for drying, instructions, and a cycle chart.
Our goal is to create bulk-produced reusable menstrual pads and deliver them into the hands of women and girls in developing countries through local distributors and mission organization bases around the world. We are actively seeking additional ministry partners to provide distribution logistics in other areas.
